The member of the Presidential press corp, who died\u00a0in the line of duty during the Atomic Junction gas explosion will be laid to rest today [Tuesday].<\/p>\n
Mohammed Ashley, a cameraman with Net 2 TV,\u00a0 is one of the seven fatalities recorded after the massive Saturday explosion.<\/p>\n
He is reported to have fallen to his death from the flyover at Atomic junction due to the impact of the explosion as chaos ensued around him.<\/p>\n
Reports indicate that, the deceased, who lived close to the area, rushed to the scene with his camera upon hearing the explosive sounds.<\/p>\n
Indications are that he also suffered some burn injuries.<\/p>\n
When relatives of the late cameraman and management of Kencity, owners of Net 2 TV\u00a0called on\u00a0the Flagstaff House, to formally inform the President of their loss, the Chief Executive Officer of Ken City, Stella Agyapong noted that “we went to the morgue to see him and he was severely burnt.”<\/p>\n
