Ghana\u2019s Tim Abeyie could not progress to the second round of the men\u2019s 200m event\u00a0 as he finished fourth in the heat in a time of 21.12 seconds.<\/p>\n
South Africa\u2019s Ncincilili Titi won the heat in a time of 20.66 seconds.<\/p>\n
Emmanuel Dasor could not also qualify\u00a0 as he finised third in the heats in 21.06 seconds.<\/p>\n
Danny Talbot of England topped that heat in a time of 20.56 seconds<\/p>\n
Solomon Afful also failed to progress after finishing fourth in 21.02 seconds<\/p>\n
Andre De Grasse of Canada won the race in 20.56 seconds.<\/p>\n
Martha Bissah finished 8th<\/sup> in her 800m women\u2019s heats in a time of 2:10.95.
