{"id":353686,"date":"2017-09-15T07:57:48","date_gmt":"2017-09-15T07:57:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=353686"},"modified":"2017-11-10T11:23:29","modified_gmt":"2017-11-10T11:23:29","slug":"nii-okai-to-save-hole-in-heart-patients-with-6th-album","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/09\/nii-okai-to-save-hole-in-heart-patients-with-6th-album\/","title":{"rendered":"Nii Okai to save hole-in-heart patients with 6th album"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gospel minister Nii Okai, will be dedicating proceeds from his 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0album to the surgery of 40 hole-in-heart patients.<\/p>\n<p>The cause dubbed \u201c40 hearts campaign\u201d is put together by his Nii Okai Saving Hearts Foundation and it also marks his 40th birthday.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a press conference, Nii Okai revealed that the foundation is embarking on a 40 hearts campaign through a grand album release concert themed YESU HI.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/showbiz.citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/nn2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The event will be held on Sunday 24th September, 2017 at the Morning Star Cathedral of the Qodesh Family Church.<\/p>\n<p>He did the first campaign when he celebrated the 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary of his debut album \u2018Moko Be.\u2019 The proceeds were used to do open-heart surgery for 10 people.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/showbiz.citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/nn3.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The statistics from the National Cardiothoracic Centre that indicated that a lot of people suffering from heart-related diseases could not get money for surgery was what motivated this campaign.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed gratitude to the National Cardiothoracic Center and the Ghana Heart Foundation for their role in reducing heart related conditions in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/showbiz.citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/nn.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Kwame Dadzie\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gospel minister Nii Okai, will be dedicating proceeds from his 6th\u00a0album to the surgery of 40 hole-in-heart patients.
