{"id":35345,"date":"2014-07-30T10:06:40","date_gmt":"2014-07-30T10:06:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=35345"},"modified":"2014-07-30T10:06:40","modified_gmt":"2014-07-30T10:06:40","slug":"sk-blinks-releases-new-dancehall-song","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/07\/sk-blinks-releases-new-dancehall-song\/","title":{"rendered":"SK Blinks releases new Dancehall song"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Probably \u00a0Ghana\u2019s most prolific francophone musician, \u00a0S.K Blinks has endeared himself to many ardent lovers and fans of good music all around the country.<\/p>\n<p>His versatility in the music industry has seen him succeed in an industry which has seen lots of high profile casualties.<\/p>\n<p>It is therefore unsurprising, that the co-writer of \u00a0hit song \u2018Aha ye de,\u2019 has joined the most acclaimed music genre in Ghana now, Dancehall.<\/p>\n<p>SK Blinks, born Sokpo Kwaku Mawuli, has released a song titled \u2018Atame\u2019 further cementing his place as one of the most unpredictably versatile artistes of his generation in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>Asked whether he could now be classified as a Dancehall artiste, SK Blinks said that \u00a0he was full of surprises and does not feel limited in music when it comes to any genre, so he will continue to do his best regardless the genre.<\/p>\n<p>According to him \u201cmusic is a feeling so when it comes to you, you unleash it, and you don\u2019t pay so much attention to the genre but I think I will be doing Dancehall for sometime\u201d SK Blinks revealed.<\/p>\n<p>SK Blinks has already featured on songs like \u2018Fakye\u2019 (forgive) with Castro, \u2018Tofee\u2019 with Ofori Amponsah, \u2018Atupan Jenje\u2019with Obour, Samini\u2019s \u2018I love you (Yoterm)\u2019 and Ruff and Smooth\u2019s \u00a0hit song, \u2018Azingele\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>S.K Blinks will be hoping his new song \u2018Atame,\u2019 will be well-received and push him to further success in his already illustrious career.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By: Edwin Kwakofi\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Probably \u00a0Ghana\u2019s most prolific francophone musician, \u00a0S.K Blinks has endeared himself to many ardent lovers and fans of good music all around the country.
