The People\u2019s National Convention (PNC) has set up a three member committee\u00a0to develop an action plan for the reorganization of the party ahead of the 2020 polls.<\/p>\n
Members of the committee include; Comrade Emmanuel Wilson Jnr, Comrade Jacob Amoako and David Apasera.<\/p>\n
The party\u00a0is also considering an early congress to elect new executives and a\u00a0 flagbearer for the 2020 general elections.<\/p>\n
These were captured in a resolution from the party\u2019s standing committee meeting held on Saturday, September 9, 2017.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”bacR1wxdrz3iCFS0QMT26K2KVv7fSz7O”]The Committee in a release copied to citifmonline.com<\/strong> said separate elections will be held for the National Officers and the flagbearer.<\/p>\n PNC\u2019s flag bearer polled 22,298 votes representing 0.21% of total votes cast in previous elections. This was the worst performance permanence of the party in a presidential election.<\/p>\n It went into the 2016 elections led by Dr. Edward Mahama<\/strong><\/span><\/a> who has now been appointed by the Akufo-Addo government as an Ambassador-at-large.<\/p>\n
