<\/p>\nThe Eastern Regional Office of the Ghana Tourism Authority has closed down about 20 hotels operating illegally in the region.<\/p>\n
The hotels were situated at Adawso, Mamfe, Akropong, Abiriw, Adukrom, Aburi and Akuapem.<\/p>\n
According to the Ghana Tourism Authority, the dilapidated forms \u00a0of the hotels posed a serious threat to customers who patronise the facilities.<\/p>\n
