The Joint Special Representative of the United Nations and the African Union in Darfur, Dr. Mohammed Ibn Chambas, has charged President Mahama to “run a lean and performing government.”<\/p>\n
According to Dr. Chambas, the request by 200 Ghanaians for asylum in Brazil though \u201cunfounded, frivolous and regrettable,\u201d was an indication of the \u201cprecarious state of the national economy at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
He called on the President Mahama to learn from the \u201ctested blueprint of success\u201d of his predecessor, the late President John Evans Atta Mills.<\/p>\n
