{"id":344975,"date":"2017-08-15T10:49:39","date_gmt":"2017-08-15T10:49:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=344975"},"modified":"2017-08-15T10:49:39","modified_gmt":"2017-08-15T10:49:39","slug":"ho-ut-bank-customers-welcome-gcb-takeover","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/08\/ho-ut-bank-customers-welcome-gcb-takeover\/","title":{"rendered":"Ho: UT Bank customers welcome GCB takeover"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"EN\">Clients of UT Bank in Ho, the Volta\u00a0Regional capital, seem not to be worried about the recent collapse of their bank and the subsequent takeover of the Bank by GCB Bank.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\">It was also a normal business day for most of the workers and customers of UT Bank in Ho as they all seem not perturbed about the current situation, despite general concerns of the job security of workers of UT Bank and Capital Bank, which also collapsed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\"><strong>Citi News<\/strong>&#8216; visit to the Bank&#8217;s premises at the Ho Civic Centre saw customers walk in and patiently await their turn for transactions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\">Most of them that spoke to <strong>Citi News<\/strong> explained that move by the Central Bank means nothing but only asking them to go back to their parent Bank which is GCB.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-344976\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Ho-UT-bank-1.jpg\" alt=\"ho-ut-bank-1\" width=\"622\" height=\"384\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;To me, I think it is normal. Maybe it will be an improvement for the society so I don\u2019t feel bad about,\u201d one customer said as he took the news in his stride.<\/p>\n<p>Other customers took solace in the security provided by a bank of GCB Bank&#8217;s scope<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They are just changing the names so I should not feat. My money will be there for me.
