Organised Labour’s demonstration\u00a0almost turned violent when protestors decided to change the final venue for converging.<\/p>\n
Instead of converging near the Arts Centre, the venue\u00a0they originally agreed on with the\u00a0police, the protestors decided to move to the Independence Square.<\/p>\n
According to Citi News\u2019 Fred Djabanor the Police disagreed with the change of venue by the protestors.<\/p>\n
\u2018\u2019The\u00a0protestors who were supposed to end the demonstration at the Hearts Park, near Arts Center say they are not going to end there but the at the Independence Square; this led to the police blocking the road, but the demonstrators over-powered them,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
He added that the demonstrators also threatened to even continue to the seat of government.<\/p>\n
The protestors\u00a0will march to the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations from\u00a0the Independence Square to present their petition.<\/p>\n
Members of Organized Labour are marching through streets across the nation protesting what they describe as worsening economic conditions.<\/p>\n
