Technical director of Inter Allies, Willie Kluste \u00a0has revealed that \u00a0building a stronger attacking setup is the team’s main aim in the local transfer window.<\/p>\n
Inter Allies managed to turn around a poor start to last season \u00a0and finish 6th on the league log after a very impressive second round but they wish to go into next season a better scoring side after scoring 31 goals in their 30 league matches last season and according to Klutse, that will guide their thinking even though they will also be concerned with improving the team in general.<\/p>\n
However, Klutse added that would focus on bringing in younger players instead of established names.<\/p>\n
“We want to improve things in the whole team from goalkeeping to attack but the most important area for us is the attack and that is where we want to strengthen. We would like to engage more goal scorers in the transfer window but we will keep our eyes on the up and coming talents.<\/p>\n
Those are the one we can develop very quickly for what we want to do and even for future sale outside the country.<\/p>\n
If possible, we can bring in some players from abroad.\u00a0Last season, we struggled for goals in a lot of our matches so we want things to be better next season,” Klutse revealed to Citi Sports in an interview on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Kluste also indicated that new coach Yaw Acheampong will not be making huge changes to his technical staff save the employment of a new goalkeeping coach but Kluste remained tight-lipped on the changes to the playing body aside the search for attackers.<\/p>\n
“We are on the market looking to add players and let some go but we cannot give any names now. That is how we want things to be until we have either bagged some or we have let some go.<\/p>\n
Some foreign clubs have showed interest in some of our players but we will wait until all is sorted before making anything public.”<\/p>\n
Inter Allies are due to get into their pre-season camp sometime in August and they will be moving out of Accra to prepare for the coming local footballing season.<\/p>\n
