{"id":338439,"date":"2017-07-21T19:11:44","date_gmt":"2017-07-21T19:11:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=338439"},"modified":"2017-07-21T19:11:44","modified_gmt":"2017-07-21T19:11:44","slug":"igp-reshuffles-dampare-yohuno-others","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/07\/igp-reshuffles-dampare-yohuno-others\/","title":{"rendered":"IGP reshuffles Dampare, Yohuno, others"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Inspector General of Police, David Asante Appeatu has carried out another reshuffle among senior officers of the Service.<\/p>\n<p>Among the officers who have been affected is the Director General of ICT, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, who has now been appointed as the Director General of Operations.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_214555\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-214555\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-214555\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/DAMPARE-64-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"COP George Dampare\" width=\"600\" height=\"402\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-214555\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">COP George Dampare<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Dr. Dampare replaces COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno who has now been appointed the Director General in charge of Special Duties.<\/p>\n<p>COP Prosper Ablorh who is currently the Director General, Special Duties has been appointed the Director General Welfare.<\/p>\n<p>ACP Anthony Aidoo has also been appointed the Director General, ICT.<\/p>\n<p>The changes according to the IGP, takes immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p>In June, the IGP transferred the longest serving\u00a0Public Affairs Director of the Police Service, SP Cephas Arthur from the Police Headquarters to\u00a0serve as the Commander of the East Legon District Command.<\/p>\n<p>38 other senior police officers were reassigned in that reshuffle.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Franklin Badu Jnr.\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Inspector General of Police, David Asante Appeatu has carried out another reshuffle among senior officers of the Service.
