{"id":333488,"date":"2017-07-02T18:13:52","date_gmt":"2017-07-02T18:13:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=333488"},"modified":"2017-07-02T18:13:52","modified_gmt":"2017-07-02T18:13:52","slug":"support-govt-with-your-expertise-minister-to-senior-citizens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/07\/support-govt-with-your-expertise-minister-to-senior-citizens\/","title":{"rendered":"Support gov\u2019t with your expertise \u2013 Minister to Senior Citizens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Upper East Regional Minister Rockson Bukari has urged Senior Citizens&#8217; of Ghana to support government with their professional expertise to improve their livelihoods of Ghanaians.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-333495 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/minister-with-senior-citizens-3.jpg\" alt=\"minister-with-senior-citizens-3\" width=\"768\" height=\"576\" \/><\/p>\n<p>According to him, senior citizen have knowledge and experience in various fields and when taped will push forward the transformational developmental agenda of government.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Rockson Bukari made these remarks in Bolgatanga at this year&#8217;s 57th anniversary of Senior Citizen&#8217;s Day celebration which was also Ghana&#8217;s Republic Day.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-333494 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/minister-with-senior-citizens-2.jpg\" alt=\"minister-with-senior-citizens-2\" width=\"768\" height=\"432\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The event featured revered personalities including politicians who contributed significantly towards to the struggle for Ghana&#8217;s freedom from colonization and her progressive development.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It must be noted that senior citizens are made up of various professionals and experts in their fields of specialty.
