The grand finale of the 2017 National Science and Math Quiz will be held on Thursday at the National Theatre in Accra.<\/p>\n

The event will see three schools; St. Thomas Aquinas<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, Adisadel College<\/strong><\/a><\/span> and Prempeh College<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, battle for supremacy and bragging rights.<\/p>\n

[contextly_sidebar id=”AYtgdjUnqut5LKpX8G5D2J1GJBjgDeJD”]The three competitors successfully triumphed over other schools throughout the contest to make it to this stage.<\/p>\n

The preliminary stages of the competition began on June 5, 2017 at the University of Ghana, Legon, with 108 Senior High School taking part in 38 contests.<\/p>\n

The preliminary stages occurred simultaneously at the R.S Amegashie Auditorium and the New N Block at the University of Ghana.<\/p>\n

In each of the 36 contests, three schools competed. Winners of the 36 preliminary contests later joined the 27 seeded schools from the 2016 edition of the competition at the one-eighth stage.<\/p>\n

Other 18 schools that had highest losing scores at the previous stage also progressed to this stage.<\/p>\n

The 2017 edition of the National Science & Maths Quiz has Citi FM<\/strong> as the official media partner.<\/p>\n

Citi FM<\/strong> aired live the semi-final contests on Monday, and will also do same for the grand finale on Thursday, June 29, 2017.<\/p>\n
