<\/p>\nThe National President of Ghana United Nations Association (GUNA), Mr. Peter Nanfuri, a former IGP, has called on executives of the association to work in unison in ensuring upliftment of the organization.<\/p>\n
According to him, successes of every organization largely depend on the level of cooperation between executives and members of the organization and thus urged them to develop all mechanisms to ensure unity.<\/p>\n
Mr. Nanfuri made the remark known when the newly appointed executives of the Greater Accra Region and the national executives of the association paid a courtesy call on him.<\/p>\n
The visit was aimed at familiarizing themselves with the national president and also to discuss other important issues such as the organization\u2019s projections for the remaining months of the year.<\/p>\n

The President, in his congratulatory message also charged the newly appointed executives to be proactive in their dealings and also develop affirmative attitude to work to help promote the work of the association.<\/p>\n
They were also urged to work towards the recognition of and respect for human rights and fundamental freedom throughout Ghana and other parts of the world including having to promote recognition of responsibilities and duties which those rights involve for all human beings since that was the key objectives of the association.<\/p>\n
He also assured that his doors are opened to them anytime they needed assistance in the discharge of their duties.<\/p>\n
On his part, the administrator of GUNA, Rev. Osafo Mireku took time to update the national president on a few happenings within the association after introducing the new regional executives.<\/p>\n

He also took time to update the national president on the 5 year strategic plan of GUNA among other events such as attending the inauguration of the Migration Platform and meeting with the deputy minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration,Charles Owiredu.<\/p>\n
In another development, Rev. Fred Anyaso-Nartey, General Manager of Webmastersonline.org and Maks Publications and Media Services has been appointed secretary of the Greater Accra Region of GUNA.<\/p>\n
