They alleged I was an armed robber. I was then detained overnight and taken to the hospital the following day&#8230; When I was discharged, I also made a formal complaint against the Police officers for abusing me and stealing an amount of GHc 15,000.00 belonging to my employers ,\u201d Bright explained.<\/p>\n<p>The Brong Ahafo Regional Crime Officer, Supt. Nana Kwaku Duah who confirmed the incident to <strong>Citi News<\/strong>\u00a0said an investigation has commenced into the incident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe case is being handled at the Divisional level but has been brought to the attention of the Regional Command. This is an allegation against them; you know they were deployed to effect a lawful arrest and there\u00a0are reports of excesses on the part of the Police. Both the suspect and the Police officers accused of stabbing the suspect have sustained injuries but that of the suspect was serious so we gave him a Police form to seek medical attention. The case is a serious one, so the command has instituted a full scale investigation into the matter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Supt.
