BET Africa announced that music heavyweights\u00a0Chris Brown,\u00a0Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, Big Sean,\u00a0Post Malone, Roman\u00a0Gian Arthur\u00a0and\u00a0Jessie Reyez\u00a0will perform at the 2017 \u201cBET Awards\u201d as well as Lifetime Achievement Award recipients\u00a0New Edition.<\/p>\n

Africa will be greatly represented at the prestigious event with singer and humanitarian Yvonne Chaka Chaka and social activist Ilwad Elman being awarded International Global Good Star and Power Awards. Eight leading African artists including AKA, Nasty C, Babes Wodumo, Wizkid, Tekno, Mr Eazi, Davido and Stonebwoy will all vie for the Best International Act: Africa category.<\/p>\n
\u201cAmazulu\u201d crooner Amanda Black and Tanzanian performer Ray Vanny are nominated for Viewer\u2019s Choice Award \u201cBest International Act\u201d, in conjunction with performers from the UK, South Korea, Canada, Australia and Jamaica.<\/p>\n
