{"id":32707,"date":"2014-07-17T18:08:10","date_gmt":"2014-07-17T18:08:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=32707"},"modified":"2014-07-17T18:08:10","modified_gmt":"2014-07-17T18:08:10","slug":"ghana-must-learn-lessons-from-2014-world-cup-kalusha-bwalya","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/07\/ghana-must-learn-lessons-from-2014-world-cup-kalusha-bwalya\/","title":{"rendered":"Ghana must learn lessons from 2014 World Cup- Kalusha Bwalya"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>Current President of the Zambian Football Association Kalusha Bwalya says Ghana should pick valuable lessons from their disastrous World Cup campaign which resulted in the teams early exit from their group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to him players called into the national team\u00a0 must show reference for authority and the regulations that govern the squad.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;To play in the national team there are rules and regulations and as a player you need to know what the team expects of you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>We have all been in the game and have played the game we sometimes have strong characters within the group but we always try to tell them to put the team&#8217;s interest before their personal interest.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>One man cannot win laurels for the team on his own but a team working together can achieve great things for their nation,&#8221;he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>He advised that going forward players who were uncomfortable with the laid down regulations in the national team should excuse themselves due to the unrest that unhappy players can bring to the dressing room of a team.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;The players need to look at the stipulated rules on player behavior when you are invited to the national team and if they are not in agreement with these rules then they can excuse themselves from the teams camp because they can destroy the harmony in the team and become the focus of attention.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;I believe that the people back at Ghana have learnt lessons from this World Cup,&#8221;he told Citi Sports.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In the wake of the Black Stars disastrous campaign a commission of enquiry has been set up to by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to investigate the issues surrounding the team.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Benjamin Nketsia\/Citifmonline.com<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Current President of the Zambian Football Association Kalusha Bwalya says Ghana should pick valuable lessons from their disastrous World Cup campaign which resulted in the teams early exit from their group.
