Government has announced the reopening of the Ghana School of Surveying and Mapping (GSSM).<\/p>\n
The school was recently closed down following recent clashes over the acquisition of its land.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the inauguration of the governing board of the school, Lands and Natural Resources Minister, John Peter Amewu, said the reopening is in line with government’s drive to get enough human resource to execute land title registration processes.<\/p>\n
Tensions\u00a0at the school escalated when students clashed with land guards on the school\u2019s premises in protest against the sale of their school land by the Lands Commission on Tuesday, May 2, 2017.<\/p>\n
