Allianz Ghana, an established stakeholder in the Ghanaian insurance market, in collaboration with OAfrica, presents the \u201cAllianz Awards 2017,\u201d a special ceremony to recognise individuals who have gone above and beyond all kinds of difficulties to achieve their dreams.<\/p>\n
This event will take place at the National Theatre, on Saturday, June 17th 2017.<\/p>\n
According to, Mr. Patrick Prado, the Managing Director, the Allianz Awards 2017 is about \u201ccelebrating Ghanaian men and women who have defied all odds to prove that the world belongs to those who dare.\u201d<\/p>\n
Allianz Awards 2017 promises to be a magical night with special guest appearances as well as music performances by Efya, an icon of girl power, and M.anifest, one of the top emcees in Ghana, and others. The Ghana amputee football team, \u201cThe Black Challenge\u201d will also be present as event ambassadors.<\/p>\n
About the Award<\/strong><\/p>\n The awards to be presented on the night will take the form of the Adinkra symbol Kwatekye Atiko, which represents bravery, valor, fearlessness and leadership.<\/p>\n This ancient symbol has four bars \u2013 said to symbolize arms and legs \u2013 pointing out in opposite directions and two spirals curling in towards the center. The bars remind us to reach out and grasp what can help us or protect ourselves by warding off what cannot.<\/p>\n The spirals encourage us to look within ourselves \u2013 mind and spirit \u2013 for the strength to endure, the wisdom to make the right choices and the patience to await things all in their proper time.<\/p>\n In this way Kwatekye Atiko reminds us not only to hope but also gather all the facts, learn all we can about what we are up against and then focus on what can be done.<\/p>\n About the Partners<\/strong><\/p>\n OAfrica is a charity organisation that promotes family-based care for orphans and other vulnerable kids. OAfrica\u2019s programs support separated children by building strong families to eliminate child abandonment and create safe, stable and loving families and communities.<\/p>\n All attendants to the Allianz Awards 2017 should know that tickets cost GH\u20b520 for regular and GH\u20b5100 for VIP.
