The first in the series of the business fora in the 2017 edition of the Citi Business Festival has been held at the Holiday Inn in Accra.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n The event was a collaboration between Citi FM and the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlements Systems (GhIPSS).<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The key issue discussed was how to enhance financial inclusion in Ghana.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The forum also looked at how other countries in Africa have improved financial inclusion using technology and how Ghana can learn and adopt some of the success stories.<\/p>\n <\/a>.<\/p>\n As part of the forum, the CEO of GhIPSS , Mr. Archie Hesse made a presentation on how the institution has encouraged financial inclusion since it was formed in 2007.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Other speakers at the forum included Ms. Buddy Buruku, a Ugandan national who works with CGAP’s Inclusive Markets, Curtis Vanderpuije, CEO of expressPay and Eli Hini, a Chartered Marketer with over 17 years experience in leadership positions with MTN , Unilever Ghana Ltd, and Coca-Cola Bottling Company Ltd.<\/p>\n
