{"id":32445,"date":"2014-07-11T05:25:21","date_gmt":"2014-07-11T05:25:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=32445"},"modified":"2014-07-16T20:29:58","modified_gmt":"2014-07-16T20:29:58","slug":"bagbins-appointment-best-for-parliament-rasheed-draman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/07\/bagbins-appointment-best-for-parliament-rasheed-draman\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cBagbin\u2019s appointment best for Parliament\u201d \u2013 Rasheed Draman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Director of African Centre for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Rasheed Dramani has described the choice of Mr. Alban Bagbin as Majority leader as the best decision for Ghana\u2019s Parliament.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Bagbin was appointed as Majority leader after President John Mahama nominated the current occupier, Benjamin Kumbour for the position of Minister for Defence in a Ministerial reshuffle announced on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Explaining why the move is a best decision, Dr. Draman opined that \u201c I think Hon. Bagbin has a lot of experience. If\u00a0 I\u2019m not mistaken, he is one of the two or three remaining experienced MPs in Parliament.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on <strong>Eyewitness News<\/strong>, Dr. Draman said Hon.
