The representative of German player, Mesut Ozil, has come out to deny claims that the player has donated his world cup winnings to Gaza, but revealed that the player did donate money to projects in Brazil.<\/p>\n
The player, practising Muslim originally from Turkey, was said to have donated his winnings from Germany’s World Cup win – reported to be around \u00a3240,000, to the region.<\/p>\n
