The Assembly member in Denkyira-Obuasi reportedly linked to the murder of Captain Maxwell\u00a0Mahama is in police custody.<\/p>\n
The assembly member, William Baah,\u00a0reportedly turned himself into police in the Diaso area, near Denkyira-Obuasi, on Wednesday afternoon, and is being transported to the Central Region Police Command.<\/p>\n
Five persons suspected to have taken part in the killing are also in the Central Regional Police after being picked up on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
One of the five suspects sustained a gunshot wound\u00a0during the lynching that resulted in the Army officer\u2019s death, and is receiving treatment.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n The five suspects have been identified as Bismark Donkor, Phillip Badu, Kofi Nyame, Anthony Amoah and Kofi Badu.<\/p>\n Captain Mahama was armed at the time and fired off at least a shot during a struggle before\u00a0being killed<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0by his attackers on Monday morning.<\/p>\n The other four suspects are being held at the Bakaano Police station in Cape Coast.<\/p>\n
