Ghana\u2019s dancehall giant, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known in showbiz as Shatta Wale, has paid tribute to the late Captain Maxwell Adams Mahama in a song.<\/p>\n

The song titled \u2018Justice for Mahama\u2019 commiserates with the family of the lost military man who was murdered at Diaso, a town near Denkyira Obuasi.<\/p>\n

Capt.\u00a0Mahama\u00a0was an officer of the 5th Infantry Battalion and was said to have been on his daily jogging routine on Monday\u00a0when he was lynched<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0by some residents of Diaso. He had been deployed there as part of some anti-illegal mining operation.<\/p>\n

The residents claimed Captain Mahama was a robber as\u00a0he was in mufti at the time. Reports said he was armed with a gun while jogging, and residents who saw him with the gun raised an alarm, attracting some of the youth in the community who attacked and killed him.<\/p>\n
