{"id":323619,"date":"2017-05-30T09:57:02","date_gmt":"2017-05-30T09:57:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=323619"},"modified":"2017-05-30T09:57:02","modified_gmt":"2017-05-30T09:57:02","slug":"citi-business-festival-starts-on-thursday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/05\/citi-business-festival-starts-on-thursday\/","title":{"rendered":"Citi Business Festival starts on Thursday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The most anticipated business fair, the Citi Business Festival will start on Thursday \u00a0with a series of outdoor and on-air programmes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The festival will be launched on the 1st of June at the head office of MTN Ghana, Ridge.<\/p>\n<p>After the launch on the 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0of June, the festival will kick off \u00a0with a series of outdoor business fora.<\/p>\n<p>The first in the series of the business fora will focus on how to enhance financial inclusion in Ghana in partnership with the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems (GhIPSS).<\/p>\n<p>The event which will be held on the 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0of June at the Holiday Inn Hotel will coincide with GhIPSS\u2019s 10 years anniversary this year.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_57584\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-57584\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-57584 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Citi-Business-News-Editor-Vivian-Kai-Lokko._800x533.jpg\" alt=\"Head of Citi Business News, Vivian Kai-Lokko \" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-57584\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Head of Citi Business News, Vivian Kai-Lokko<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Vivian Kai Lokko ( 2016 edition photo of Citi Business Festival)<\/p>\n<p>The festival will also feature a programme in partnership with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) \u00a0at the Alisa Hotel on 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of June. The forum will look at \u00a0how \u00a0investment rules must \u00a0change to enhance Ghana\u2019s investment attractiveness as well as establish the link between Ghana\u2019s Macroeconomic outlook and the potential to boost investment.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s edition of the Sales Revolution is slated for 15<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0June at the Coconut Grove Hotel in Accra. This Sales Revolution is a one full day sales training programme which will provide adequate opportunities for sales persons and marketing executives on the dynamic trends and methods of sales and marketing. The event will assemble the best sales experts in the country who will make presentations on modern trends in the industry. This is a week-long residential executive education programme, for senior managers and businessmen. The carefully selected faculty of facilitators with a blend of rich academic and practical expertise will take participants through a wide range of contemporary management and strategic issues.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Citi FM will partner the Ghana Tourism Authority(GTA) to take a look at one of the most critical sectors of the economy\u2014tourism, and its impact on Ghana\u2019s development.\u00a0\u00a0 The Tourism and Hospitality Forum will be held in Accra on 22<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0of June at Alisa Hotel.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_73717\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-73717\" style=\"width: 695px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/citi.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-73717\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-73717\" src=\"http:\/\/citibusinessnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/citi.jpg\" alt=\"citi\" width=\"695\" height=\"695\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-73717\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">file photo ( 2016 edition photo of Citi Business Festival)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One of the highlights programmes, the Innovation Summit will come off at the Labadi Beach Hotel on the 24<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of June. The Innovation Summit is an interactive event on how to create value for the business community through innovation.<\/p>\n<p>It will feature a panel of industry players, discussing how to generate business successes through innovation.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\">This event will bring together a panel to discuss innovations and business ideas.
