{"id":323578,"date":"2017-05-30T10:25:09","date_gmt":"2017-05-30T10:25:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=323578"},"modified":"2017-05-30T10:25:09","modified_gmt":"2017-05-30T10:25:09","slug":"akufo-addo-leaves-ghana-for-niger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/05\/akufo-addo-leaves-ghana-for-niger\/","title":{"rendered":"Akufo-Addo leaves Ghana for Niger"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Akufo Addo will leave Accra today for Niger as part of his tour of some West African countries.<\/p>\n<p>While there, the President will hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Mahamadou Issoufou, and also meet the Ghanaian community there.<\/p>\n<p>Niger is the latest country the President is travelling to after returning from Liberia and Mali last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The visits are aimed at deepening Ghana\u2019s bilateral relations and reiterate his administration&#8217;s full commitment to the ideals of ECOWAS.<\/p>\n<p>A few weeks ago Akufo-Addo took his African tour to Senegal.<\/p>\n<p>He spent two days \u00a0holding interactions with that country\u2019s President and meeting the Ghanaian community there.<\/p>\n<p>Akufo Addo has so far visited a number of African Countries including Guinea, Liberia, and Cape Verde.<\/p>\n<p>The president during one of his visits to the African Countries reiterated\u00a0Ghana\u2019s full commitment to supporting ECOWAS to allow it succeed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Sammi Wiafe\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Akufo Addo will leave Accra today for Niger as part of his tour of some West African countries.
