The second edition of one of Ghana’s biggest peer mentoring and networking event, ASK Series will be held over the weekend in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi.<\/p>\n
The event will bring together young professionals who will share knowledge build their networks and support a cause leading to a rennaisance.<\/p>\n
The ASK is an acronym for \u201cACTIVELY SEEK KNOWLEDGE\u201d.<\/p>\n
The speakers and facilitators for the event are drawn from a network of young people who have substantial experience in their respective subjects of discussion.<\/p>\n
The convener of the event, Anani Yao Kuwornu said,\u00a0\u201cIt is a continuous professional development programme which targets developing soft skills and value system among young professionals\u201d.<\/p>\n
Topics for the quarterly sessions of the ASK Series cut across public sector management, private sector development, leadership, entrepreneurship among others.<\/p>\n
The maiden edition of the ASK Series was held in Accra on Saturday March 11, 2017 at the Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence.<\/p>\n
The Kumasi edition, which is free to attend, will be held at HapaSpace in the Dovewell Village behind the Intercity STC Yard at Adum on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 3pm prompt.<\/p>\n
The Accra edition saw speakers including the YALI Regional Co-ordinator, USAID West Africa, Pape Momar Sow, Acting Director of Public Affairs at Parliament of Ghana, Ms. Kate Addo, Chief Executive Officer of Cal Brokers David Tetteh, and Executive Director of Leaders and Mentors, Moses Coffie.<\/p>\n
Speakers expected at the Kumasi edition including the Regional Administrator for the Judicial Service, Noel Francis Agodzo, Head of Cluster Business at Access Bank Ghana PLC, Ms. Raheemat Boakye and Lawyer Selasi Fume.<\/p>\n
