Background<\/strong><\/p>\nFollowing Hajia Ayishetu Seidu\u2019s nomination, the governing New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Savelugu constituency executives joined hundreds of the party youth in protest.<\/p>\n
The women\u2019s Organizer, Kande Amadu, posited that, Hajia Ayishetu Seidu was not a registered voter in the constituency.<\/p>\n
She claimed that Hajia Ayishetu Seidu never participated in any party activities ahead of the 2016 polls.<\/p>\n
Female MDCE nominees<\/strong><\/p>\nThree out of four female nominees among the 26 MMDCEs in the Northern Region, have been confirmed.<\/p>\n
They are Mariam Iddrisu for Sagnarigu, Alele Veronica Heming for Bole and Hajia Ayishetu Seidu for Savelugu\/Nantong districts.<\/p>\n
It is anticipated that, the President\u2019s District Chief Executive nominee for the Tolon district, Hajia Amama Shaibu will \u00a0be confirmed.<\/p>\n
