The apology from Gender Minister, Otiko Afisa Djaba, and the Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),\u00a0Daniel Bugri Naabu, should not be accepted by Ghanaians, according to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).<\/p>\n
Speaking to Citi News<\/strong>, the NDC\u2019s Deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho, said, \u201cGhana is bigger than the NPP, so their internal apology means nothing to the larger Ghanaian populace\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n He said the NPP could swoop in and pretend on the matter, but urged Ghanaians not to accept \u201cthe lame apologies from within the belly of the elephant.”<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n His comments follow a directive by the National Council of the NPP for Bugri Naabu and Otiko Djaba to\u00a0apologize\u00a0with written letters, after their\u00a0public spat which birthed claims<\/a><\/strong><\/span> that the Upper East Regional Minister, Rockson\u00a0Bukari, was involved in the murder the late Upper East Regional Chairman of the NPP, Adams Mahama.<\/p>\n
