{"id":316180,"date":"2017-05-03T12:58:00","date_gmt":"2017-05-03T12:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=316180"},"modified":"2017-05-03T12:58:00","modified_gmt":"2017-05-03T12:58:00","slug":"nss-personnel-ordered-to-validate-names-or-lose-allowances","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/05\/nss-personnel-ordered-to-validate-names-or-lose-allowances\/","title":{"rendered":"NSS personnel ordered to validate names or lose allowances"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Service Scheme (NSS), has ordered personnel on government payroll to validate their particulars with the scheme or risk forfeiting their <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/03\/30\/ghs559-nss-increment-approved-takes-effect-in-april\/\"><strong>allowances<\/strong><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>A statement issued by the Executive Director of the Scheme, Mustapha Ussif on Tuesday, said the validation comes as a follow-up exercise to their reforms in the E-zwich payment system.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;DyqZi5RZDbIsZgtXkpwuiKw3aYuWuK1D&#8221;]The statement said all personnel are required to complete the validation process by Monday, May 15, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll national service personnel are therefore expected to obtain validation forms from the district secretariats of the NSS, fill them with their respective heads of departments, and personally submit them to the district secretariats by Monday, 15th May, 2017 to complete the validation process.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is important for national service personnel to note that, anyone who is not validated by the stipulated date, will be considered nonexistent and therefore, WILL NOT be paid his\/her allowance,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>In a related development, the Management of the Scheme, has expressed their readiness to work with the newly elected national executives of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA).<\/p>\n<p>The new executives were elected at the just ended National Delegates Congress at <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/04\/28\/er-nss-personnel-join-fight-against-galamsey\/\">Koforidua<\/a><\/strong><\/span> over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>A statement signed by the Deputy Executive Director in charge of Finance and Administration, Gifty Oware-Aboagye, said management is looking forward to a cordial working relationship with the new executives.<\/p>\n<p>It further advised that, they \u201clive above individual and parochial interests and make the interests of the entire membership of NASPA their priority.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new executives are;\u00a0 Philip Burberry Quaye (President), Adam Mohammed Hardi (General Secretary), Thonney Aidoo (Financial Secretary), James K.
