The Integrated Social Development Centre (ISODEC), \u00a0has said that the government\u2019s decision to review portions of the Electricity Company of Ghana’s (ECG) concession agreement under the Power Compact II<\/strong><\/a><\/span> arrangement, makes the deal better than it was under the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.<\/p>\n According to the Center, although it would have wished to see a more drastic review, the change, although minor, will protect the interest of ECG workers.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”q688DpbwvLfkFEpJ9XzlmhKnToQJIrWn”]President Akufo-Addo, while delivering his 2017 May Day address, said the government has resolved to keep more than the 20 percent control agreed by the former government, to protect the workers.<\/p>\n
