Motorists and users of petroleum products from tomorrow should be ready to cough up 23 percent more for fuel.<\/p>\n
This is because the\u00a0National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has in its latest price review increased prices for the various petroleum products.<\/p>\n
Petrol has gone up by about 23percent, from 2 cedis 73 pesewas to 3 cedis 36 pesewas. \u00a0Diesel has gone up by 22 percent, from 2 cedis 68 pesewas to 3 cedis, 27 pesewas per litre.<\/p>\n
Kerosene is up by about 24 percent from 2 cedis 61 pesewas to 3 cedis 23 pesewas per litre.<\/p>\n
Premix is up by about 26 percent, from 1 cedi 25 pesewas to 1 cedi 57 pesewas while Liquified Petroleum Gas has gone up by about 16 percent, shooting up from 2 cedis, 87 pesewas to 3 cedis 32 pesewas per kilogram.<\/p>\n
The increment takes effect from Monday, 14th<\/sup>\u00a0July, 2014.<\/p>\n The last time the prices changed was on April 16 when Diesel fell by about 4 percent.<\/p>\n
