It houses shops for groceries, beauty, electronics, clothing, pharmaceuticals, jewellery, entertainment and some recreational centres.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-312486 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Kumasi-City-Mall-9.jpg\" alt=\"kumasi-city-mall-9\" width=\"630\" height=\"354\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-312497 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Kumasi-City-Mall-4.jpg\" alt=\"kumasi-city-mall-4\" width=\"630\" height=\"472\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The facility is owned by Delico Property Limited, the same owners of the Achimota Retail Center.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-312496 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Kumasi-City-Mall-3.jpg\" alt=\"kumasi-city-mall-3\" width=\"630\" height=\"472\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-312495\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Kumasi-City-Mall-2.jpg\" alt=\"kumasi-city-mall-2\" width=\"630\" height=\"472\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It would be managed by a four-member Board of Directors with the day-to-day operations run by Broll Ghana Limited as the property managers, and AttAfrica Asset Managers as the Asset Managers.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Kofi Sekyere, Chairman of the Mall, said it would offer a wonderful shopping experience to people in the city.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-312494 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Kumasi-City-Mall-1.jpg\" alt=\"kumasi-city-mall-1\" width=\"630\" height=\"472\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-312492\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Kumasi-City-Mall-15.jpg\" alt=\"kumasi-city-mall-15\" width=\"630\" height=\"472\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He indicated that, the needs of everybody \u2013 people of different income groups, had been taken care of.<\/p>\n<p>He also spoke about hundreds of people, both from within and outside Kumasi, who were going to secure employment.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-312493 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Kumasi-City-Mall-16.jpg\" alt=\"kumasi-city-mall-16\" width=\"630\" height=\"472\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-312491 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Kumasi-City-Mall-14.jpg\" alt=\"kumasi-city-mall-14\" width=\"630\" height=\"354\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He said there is\u00a0no doubt that the Mall would make a significant contribution to the national economy.<\/p>\n<p>The large crowd of shoppers, who thronged the place in the early hours of its opening for business, said they were happy about the serene environment.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-312489 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Kumasi-City-Mall-12.jpg\" alt=\"kumasi-city-mall-12\" width=\"630\" height=\"472\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-312487 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Kumasi-City-Mall-10.jpg\" alt=\"kumasi-city-mall-10\" width=\"630\" height=\"354\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ms. Akosua Asantenkae, a beautician, could not hide her joy, as she told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that \u201cit\u2019s simply fantastic\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst several people were seen doing brisk shopping, others were just window shoppers.<\/p>\n<p>The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, performed the ceremony to start the <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/04\/07\/kumasi-city-mall-opens-on-april-20\/\">construction of the Mall <\/a><\/strong><\/span>on Saturday, June 07, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Photos: Lauretta Timah<\/p>\n<p>Source: GNA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The US$95 million Kumasi City Mall, officially opened for business today [Thursday], drawing a lot of excitement by shoppers in the nation\u2019s second largest city.
