The management and children of the Mama Laadi Foster Home in the Upper East Region, have lauded the Citi FM<\/strong> Easter Orphan Project, saying it remains their major source of\u00a0assistance for survival.<\/p>\n As an annual ritual, the project has since 2008, supported the Foster Home in kind and cash through contributions of corporate organizations, philanthropists and Citi FM’s<\/strong> cherished listeners.<\/p>\n The Foster home this year (2017), received valuables including several bags of rice, millet, detergents, cartons of milk, large quantity of confectionery and sanitary pads worth Ghc7,000, and an amount of Ghc4,000.<\/p>\n He said the station’s management remained committed to assuaging the plight of the destitute in society through the Easter Orphan Project and other channels. The team also mentored the children on how to discover themselves outside the orphanage.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Awuni Ferguson, who was one of the children of the home, on behalf of his colleagues, said they will forever adore Citi FM for their support. \u00a0He stated that the Easter Orphan Project has impacted on their lives tremendously.<\/p>\n
