Car rental company, YOKS Car Rental has met the West African Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCo) to express their appreciation for supporting their business when they commenced their operations.<\/p>\n
With just a few years into their operations, YOKS won a contract to provide transport services to WAPCo at a time when they were still budding.<\/p>\n
Although the company was not adequately staffed and resourced, they still managed to effectively carry out the contract which involved Benin, Togo, Accra and Takoradi through the support of WAPCo.<\/p>\n
And according to the Chief Executive Officer of YOKS Investments Limited, Seth YeboahOcran, through their engagement, he learnt a lot which helped him to put his business in the right direction. He said WAPCo\u2019s insistence on professionalism, safety and security helped him to embrace excellence that the YOKS brand has become known with.<\/p>\n
\u2018\u2019At the time in 2006, YOKS had about five cars, six workers and we were very small but WAPCo for one reason saw the vision through our proposal that we sent and gave us the opportunity and we learnt a lot from them. When it comes to safety issue, security, defensive driving, protocol driving and all these things, they were not playing with them. So I personally learnt a lot and I can say without any contradiction that after the completion of WAPCo thought me the direction to go in terms of the niche that YOKS is currently providing,\u2019\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n
