Telecommunication giant, Vodafone Ghana and HFC bank have separately donated cash sums to Citi FM’s Easter Orphan Project.

Whereas Vodafone supported the project with GHc1, 500, HFC bank gave GHc1, 000.

Citi FM has on a daily basis been receiving donations in the form of cash amounts, confectionaries, biscuits, drinks, canned products and other assorted items from its cherished listeners.

Some companies that have supported the project include Ashfoam Ghana Limited, Promasidor Ghana as well as some individuals.

Citi FM about 12 years ago adopted three orphanages in the country in which it supports annually.

The orphanages include the Baptist School Complex (BASCO) an orphanage at Trotor, near Suhum in the Eastern Region, the Handivangelism Orphanage at Haatso in Accra and Mama Laadi Orphanage at Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.

The Easter Orphan Project has over the years ensured that these orphanages receive enough supplies to last them a whole year.

More donations welcomed

Persons seeking to donate towards the project can come to the office of Citi FM at Adabraka, behind the Adabraka Police Station, or send cash donations via mobile money via 024 337 4093.
