The people of Funsi, in the Upper West Region have honoured\u00a0energetic, award-winning songstress, Noella Wiyaala in a special way by naming a street after her.<\/p>\n

The singer revealed this on her Facebook page in a post that read, \u201cMy people said they had a surprise for me. About Wiyaala<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wiyaala is Ghanaian Afro pop singer-songwriter who sings in her native Sissala and Waale dialects and English, often combining all three languages within her songs.<\/p>\n

She has attained public renown with most of her songs.<\/p>\n

After making her name in reality shows in Accra, she established a solo career in 2013 with the hit single “Rock My Body”, which won her two awards at the 2014 first edition of the All Africa Music Awards, the Most Promising Artiste in Africa and Revelation of The African Continent.
