The President of Regent University College of Science And Technology, Professor N.N.N Nsowah Nuamah says tertiary students must see research as an important medium to enhance their knowledge.

According to him, most students lack exposure to modern ideas because the zeal among students to seek for ideas has dwindled.

Speaking at the launch of Africa Intellectual Database for Development and Excellence (AIDDE), Professor Nuamah called on the Ministry Of Education and Ghana Education Service to help enforce research and technology in the basic and secondary schools.

“I entreat the Ministry Of Education and Ghana Education Service to join hands with us in providing a similar platform for basic and secondary schools. The proposed provision of libraries in some part of the country by the government will be very much enhanced if it is supported with a localised e-library and e-teaching platform. Let us all help to shape teaching and learning in Ghana through technology,” he said.
