{"id":303264,"date":"2017-03-21T11:00:13","date_gmt":"2017-03-21T11:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=303264"},"modified":"2017-03-21T11:00:13","modified_gmt":"2017-03-21T11:00:13","slug":"urban-management-project-in-ho-96-complete","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/03\/urban-management-project-in-ho-96-complete\/","title":{"rendered":"Urban management project in Ho 96% complete"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Minister for Local Government and Rural development, Hajia Alima Mahama, has inspected work on the Ghana Urban Management Project in Ho.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?attachment_id=303269\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-303269\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-303269\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Urban-project-at-Ho-3-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"urban-project-at-ho-3\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The 40.5 million Euros project was commissioned in 2012, and funded by Whence Francais Development (AFD).<\/p>\n<p>It is expected to improve living conditions in urban areas for inhabitants of the four selected cities, thus; Kumasi, Sekondi-Takoradi, Tamale and Ho.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?attachment_id=303270\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-303270\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-303270\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Urban-project-at-Ho-4-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"urban-project-at-ho-4\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Project in Ho comprises the construction of a modern abattoir, an engineered landfill site, and reconstruction of the Ho Central Market at a cost of 28million Ghana cedis.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?attachment_id=303271\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-303271\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-303271\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Urban-project-at-Ho-5-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"urban-project-at-ho-5\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Following her assumption of office as the new Local Government Minister, Hajia Alima went on a familiarization tour of the area to assess at first hand the progress of work in the region.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?attachment_id=303272\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-303272\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-303272\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Urban-project-at-Ho-6-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"urban-project-at-ho-6\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Consultants of the Project, LAMDA Consult, in giving a\u00a0progress report, told stakeholders the project is 96% close to completion.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister hinted that, the tour today [Monday, March 20, 2017], would inform the Ministry on ensuring a successful completion of the project and the rolling out of its second phase.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: King Nobert Akpablie\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Minister for Local Government and Rural development, Hajia Alima Mahama, has inspected work on the Ghana Urban Management Project in Ho.
