{"id":302596,"date":"2017-03-17T17:30:13","date_gmt":"2017-03-17T17:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=302596"},"modified":"2017-03-17T17:30:13","modified_gmt":"2017-03-17T17:30:13","slug":"musah-superior-overwhelmingly-endorsed-as-tamale-mce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/03\/musah-superior-overwhelmingly-endorsed-as-tamale-mce\/","title":{"rendered":"Musah Superior overwhelmingly endorsed as Tamale MCE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Iddrisu Musah Superior has been overwhelmingly confirmed as the Tamale Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE).<\/p>\n<p>He secured hundred percent of the total votes of 57 to serve as the Tamale MCE of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo\u2019s government.<\/p>\n<p>The confirmation was held at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Friday, March 17.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-302604\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Tamale-MCE-confirmation-3-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"tamale-mce-confirmation-3\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-302602 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Tamale-MCE-confirmation-1-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"tamale-mce-confirmation-1\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As a youth activist who understands the geopolitical dynamics of the Tamale Metropolis, an elated Iddrisu Musah Superior reaffirmed his commitment to change the area in line with the New Patriotic Party&#8217;s (NPP) transformational agenda.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, residents of Tamale through their elected representatives at the Assembly have decided to move forward.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have decided that we are collectively ready for development,\u201d Iddrisu Musah Superior remarked.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-302603\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Tamale-MCE-confirmation-2-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"tamale-mce-confirmation-2\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He called for peaceful co-existence to attract investors and development partners. Iddrisu Musah Superior promised to liaise with traditional, religious and opinion leaders in the metropolis in his quest to meet the aspirations of the people.<\/p>\n<p>He thanked President Nana Akufo Addo for the confidence reposed in him, and pledged his commitment to live up to expectation.
