<\/span>H<\/span>iplif<\/span>e<\/span><\/span> Musician, Castro<\/b>\u00a0 is feared dead after reportedly drowning\u00a0in a Jet Ski accident in Ada.<\/p>\n

He is reported to have drowned in a jet\u00a0ski accident in Ada on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Reports say the celebrated and award-winning Ghanaian musician was trying to save a female friend from drowning when he drowned.<\/p>\n

According to eyewitnesses, Castro together with the Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan and three others were on a weekend trip.<\/p>\n

The group reportedly rented jet skis and went on the water where the unfortunate accident occurred.<\/p>\n

Gyan and Castro have collaborated on a number of award-winning hit songs in Ghana.<\/p>\n

Asamoah Gyan owns Baby Jet Promotions, which is the label Castro works under. They have been friends for over 10 years.<\/p>\n

Theophilus Tagoe, aka Castro hails from Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana.\u00a0He was born in 1982\u00a0to Lydia Tagoe, a trader, and Mr <\/span>Coffie<\/span><\/span>, an accountant, at the Takoradi Harbour.<\/span><\/p>\n

He attended Anglican Primary and J.S.S in Takoradi.<\/p>\n

Before he launched his debut album in 2003, he had featured on hip-life group 4×4 hit track, \u201csikletele<\/span><\/span>\u201d which officially introduced him into the local music scene.<\/p>\n
