The tomb of late President Professor John Evans Atta Mills, is in a bad state, five years after he was buried at the Asomdwe Park in Accra.<\/p>\n

A visit to the Park by Citi News<\/strong> revealed that the well-crafted metallic cover of the tomb, has developed grim cracks detaching itself from the rest of the artefact.<\/p>\n Portions of the tomb are also falling apart, and managers of the park have had to support it with blocks.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, management of the park, declined to speak to Citi News<\/strong> about the development when contacted.<\/p>\n Background<\/strong><\/p>\n President Mills died at the 37 Military Hospital on July 24, 2012, and was buried in August that year.<\/p>\n A park close to the Osu Castle was subsequently prepared to serve as the burial ground for the late president.<\/p>\n The facility, which had geese and fish pond, ostriches, guinea fowls among other beautiful scenic attractions, also served as a recreational centre.<\/p>\n –<\/p>\n By: Seidu Anass\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The tomb of late President Professor John Evans Atta Mills, is in a bad state, five years after he was buried at the Asomdwe Park in Accra.
