<\/a><\/p>\nThe Universal Merchant Bank (UMB) is providing a cash price of 100,000.00 Ghana cedis to the winner.<\/p>\n
The second runner up will take home 75,000.00 Ghana cedis, which cash price will be sponsored by a yet to be named institution.<\/p>\n
Addressing the press at the launch of the competition, the Managing Director of UMB, John Awuah, said his outfit is looking forward to innovative apps that will help shape business in Ghana.<\/p>\n
The Minister of Information, Mustapha Hamid, urged the youth in Ghana to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the competition.<\/p>\n
Competition details:<\/strong><\/p>\nThe deadline for submission of all applications is May 19, 2017. Interested applicants should submit their innovation entry with a write-up to: jic@gh60yearson.com.
\n<\/span><\/p>\nCriteria and Eligibility<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n\u2013 Competitors must be aged between 18-35 years old.<\/div>\n
\u2013 Solutions should be available via a mobile phone , either smartphone (Android, IOS, Mobile Web) or non-smart phone (SMS, USSD, Voice).<\/div>\n
\u2013 Solutions can also include Internet of Things Based Solutions.<\/div>\n
\u2013 Solution should be demonstrable and work in Ghana.<\/div>\n
\u2013 Solution should be built by a Ghanaian resident or Ghanaian-registered Company.<\/div>\n
\u2013 Solution should not be a copy of an existing business in Ghana.<\/div>\n
