Asante Kotoko defender Eric Donkor says the bad state of the Golden City pitch was a hindrance\u00a0in their 0-0 draw with Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The pitch looked crusty and that made ball control very difficult for the two sides in the live televised game this week.<\/p>\n
The Porcupine Warriors ultimately picked up a point in the game but that was not enough to stop the defender from complaining about the unplayable nature of the pitch.<\/p>\n
“The pitch was very terrible and you could see it wasn\u2019t a good pitch for us,\u201d Donkor said after the game<\/p>\n
“It was hard and very rough so it was difficult to control the ball but we managed to play.\u201d<\/p>\n
That\u2019s Africa for you and this is Ghana so even if it\u2019s a bad pitch, you have to manage and play and that is what we did. I think we did our best.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kotoko are second in the Ghana Premier League after beating Liberty at home and picking up a point against Berekum Chelsea.<\/p>\n
