\u00a0<\/strong>Parliament\u2019s Appointments Committee will complete its work on the vetting of the President Akufo-Addo’s substantive ministers today [Thursday, February 16, 2017].<\/p>\n Kwaku Asomah Cheremeh, Salifu Saaed and Kwamena Duncan who are the Minister-nominees for the Brong Ahafo, Northern and Central Regions respectively will appear before the committee today.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”HtKp4IhNaCSVkjQhPsv8nhscX4k0kjgi”]The committee would have vetted 46 ministers in all by the end of its work today pending the naming of Deputy Ministers.<\/p>\n The committee last Thursday completed vetting of all the 36 sector ministers named by the President and subsequently submitted its report to Parliament for their approval.<\/p>\n Of all the sector ministers vetted over the past weeks, 31 of them have already been sworn in and have commenced work.<\/p>\n ‘Deputy ministers to be named’<\/strong><\/p>\n The Appointments Committee will after presenting submitting its report on the regional ministers, sit to vet deputy ministers who will be named later by President Akufo-Addo in consultation with the substantive ministers.<\/p>\n –<\/p>\n By: Jonas Nyabor\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" \u00a0Parliament\u2019s Appointments Committee will complete its work on the vetting of the President Akufo-Addo’s substantive ministers today [Thursday, February 16, 2017].
