The list of Chairmen and Ranking Members of the standing and select committees that will operate in the 7th Parliament has been revealed.<\/p>\n
The number of members per committee will range from 18 to 25 for the 17 committees in all.<\/p>\n
Parliament had appointed a 20-member committee to act as the emergency committee of selection, for the 7th parliament of the 4th Republic.<\/p>\n
The mandate of emergency committee of selection was to compose the various standing and select committees of Parliament, so that the work of committees in the House could begin.<\/p>\n
