{"id":28802,"date":"2014-06-30T19:08:38","date_gmt":"2014-06-30T19:08:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=28802"},"modified":"2014-06-30T20:55:19","modified_gmt":"2014-06-30T20:55:19","slug":"interior-minister-hasnt-abandoned-his-post-james-agalga","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2014\/06\/interior-minister-hasnt-abandoned-his-post-james-agalga\/","title":{"rendered":"Interior Minister hasn\u2019t abandoned his post \u2013 James Agalga"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Deputy Minister of Interior, Mr. James Agalga, has denied assertions that the Minister of Interior, Mr. Kwesi Ahwoi has abandoned his <span class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\" id=\"53a48414-84e4-4b02-9846-196c0c7e5163\">post but<\/span> is away on his annual leave.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Interior has come under criticisms for allegedly abandoning his post in the midst of the crises at Bimbilla.<\/p>\n<p>But a press statement issued by Mr. <span class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\" id=\"c4c3376e-9488-4393-9087-b7205bd453b4\">Agalga<\/span> indicated that the Minister only obtained the permission of the President to proceed on his annual leave.<\/p>\n<p>It noted that \u201c the impression being created that the Minister has vacated his post while people are dying in this country must be debunked\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It clarified that the Minister of Defense, Hon Mark Woyongo, has been acting as the Minister for Interior since the Minister proceeded on leave.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is important to note that the Deputy Minister for the Interior, Hon.
