A non-governmental organisation, Dream in Action Foundation (ADAF) has donated learning materials worth about GHc 2,000 to the Domsesere MA Primary School at Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region.<\/p>\n
The Donation which took place on Tuesday at the school premises was part of the organization’s humanitarian activities dubbed “Donate for Education Project.”<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
An elated headmaster of the school, Mr John Dean said the donation was timely and will help boost teaching and learning in the school.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“I think this Donation by ADAF Ghana is a great one and is going to help most of the pupils here. With this donation, I believe those who are failing to turn up for school because of lack of learning materials will turn up.”<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
He also revealed that pupils of the school are forced to use benches, borrowed from a nearby prayer camp as desks for learning.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“We do not have furniture for pupils to sit on. We have been using church benches and it is a big challenge to us here.”<\/p>\n
President of ADAF Ghana, Mr Peter K. Ania in an interview with Citi News<\/strong>, mentioned that his NGO seeks to help Communities like Domsesere value education better.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWe realized that when you go to the remote areas, parents and students do not know the essence of education.
