In his seemingly innocuous tweet, Mr. Benjamin wondered if the dry dusty harmattan air had been ushered in by an inauguration.<\/p>\n
Ghanaians on social media say Mr. Benjamin was just trolling President Mahama for his many inaugurations of projects ahead of the December 7 elections.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n This rubbed some Ghanaians on Twitter the wrong way as they felt Mr. Benjamin had crossed the line by what they considered an insult to the sitting president.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The angry reactions eventually compelled Mr. Benjamin to delete the tweet and sort of clarify his comments.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Some others felt the whole thing was a storm in a tea cup given Ghanaians and cried double standards.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Others decided they weren’t going to be bothered by the whole thing.<\/p>\n
