Barely six years ago, the founder of the National Democratic Congress, H.E. Flt Lt. Jerry John Rawlings complained about some babies with sharp teeth within the NDC who must be tamed to save the party from humiliating itself in the future.<\/p>\n
In what seem like a prophecy, it has come to pass.<\/p>\n
The babies with sharp teeth have succeeded in pushing the NDC into opposition.<\/p>\n
The NDC did not just lose the just ended 2016 General elections but was resoundingly beaten by the NPP who presented a Buhari kind of candidate. (I say a Buhari kind of candidate because of Nana Addo’s age)<\/p>\n
It is shocking to realise that the NDC has lost the just ended elections with such a wide margin. Like seriously, the margin was so wide that NDC gurus themselves cannot fathom to understand how it happened.<\/p>\n
Well…I think I will have to direct them to go see Kumawood actor Kojo Nkansah Lilwin because they can’t think far.<\/p>\n
The defeat has hit the NDC so hard that confusion has been written on the faces of all the front liners within the party right from the flagbearer through to the chairman of the party to the likes of the babies with sharp teeth like the uncouth disrespectful Greater Accra Regional Organiser of the party, Anthony Nukpenu.<\/p>\n
I made a special mention of Anthony Nukpenu because he seem to be one of the latter days babies with sharp teeth who thinks they wield so much powers that they talk anyhow to anybody at any time. They are just barking and biting without thinking of tomorrow.<\/p>\n
What I have noticed is their actions looks like that which is been used by someone for dirty work unknowingly to themselves that they are been used as ass cleaners.<\/p>\n
For me, I think President Mahama has done what Napoleon could not do. He has done his bit and would have cherished to do more but unfortunately he surrounded himself with nincompoops who were not thinking generationally like he was doing but were thinking of their stomachs and how to chase the sweet girls in town with our state monies hence his defeat.<\/p>\n
I hear chairman Portuphy has been crying since the defeat because the assumption would be that, he has sent the party into opposition. Sir it is not your fault so please don’t worry, hold your tears and put yourself together and come back stronger to fight like a lion in 2020.<\/p>\n
You lost the elections because of the babies with sharp teeth and greedy people with foolish pride in your party who failed to respect the grassroots.<\/p>\n
I shall come out with a proper analysis of your loss later but the purpose of this article is to remind to the western embassies of what was said by one of the babies with sharp teeths ahead of the elections.<\/p>\n
I recall that barely 24 hours after the attack at the Nima home of the NPP flagbearer, the British and American embassy issued a statement which sort to suggest that visas would be denied politicians who would create some troubles in the country before, during and after the elections.<\/p>\n
Inasmuch as I didn’t like the content of the statement from the embassies which sort to threaten us with visas, I also condemned the pompous reply from the Greater Accra regional organiser of the NDC, Anthony Nukpenu.<\/p>\n
Power, they say, corrupts so I guess the small post he now hold could be the reason behind his utter disrespect for everybody regardless of who you are.<\/p>\n
Anthony, in his reply to the embassies, when asked for his comments on the statement on Citi eyewitness news said “I don’t need their visas for anything and what should I go and do in their country? I don’t need their visas ”<\/p>\n
When you are filled with absolute pride, you fail to think before speaking. You talk any how without thinking of the consequences.<\/p>\n
That was how the rather funny and full of pride Anthony Nukpenu reacted to Richard Dela Sky’s question that day.<\/p>\n
Well, I think the likes of Anthony Nukpenu must be put on blacklist by most of the embassies and be prevented from leaving the shores of this country and stay with us till 2020.<\/p>\n
